Position Overview

We are looking for proprietary currency desk traders to trade forex and crypto markets with firm capital. You will monitor global economic releases, central bank decisions, and price action to execute currency trades with institutional-level tools and professional risk oversight.

Location: Boston, MA

Employment Type: Independent Contractor (1099)

Experience Level: 2+ years trading or managing investments

Key Responsibilities

• Trade major and cross currency pairs across the London, New York, and Asian sessions
• Build a macro-aware market view using rate differentials, growth data, and risk sentiment
• Use technical levels and price-action confirmation to time precise entries and exits
• Maintain strict position sizing and leverage discipline appropriate to FX volatility
• Track and review every trade with attention to expectancy, win rate, and slippage
• Engage with peer traders to stress-test theses and refine market views

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience trading options or currencies
• Solid understanding of derivatives markets and trading fundamentals
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills under pressure
• Self-motivated, disciplined, and results-oriented
• Stable computer setup and reliable high-speed internet connection
• Familiarity with trading platforms is a bonus

Position Details

• Independent contractor (1099) arrangement with performance-only compensation
• Tiered profit splits from 60% to 90% based on consistency and demonstrated results
• Starting capital allocation up to $50,000, with clear progression to $500,000+
• Remote-first firm with currency and crypto traders across multiple time zones
• Capital reviews on a recurring two-month cadence for qualifying traders
• Tier benefits and advancement specifics reviewed at the interview stage
